Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar Takes Decisive Action to Address Police Personnel Needs

Lahore: In a focused meeting at the Central Police Office, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, addressed various concerns of police personnel and their families, issuing directives to expedite recruitment and transfer requests to support the welfare of the police community.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar actively responded to the needs presented by staff during the meeting. He directed the AIG Admin to facilitate the recruitment request for the son of the late Constable Arshad Ali and tasked the Additional IG Punjab with overseeing Inspector Muhammad Akram’s transfer from Sheikhupura to Gujrat. Further actions included instructions to the DIG Establishment I regarding ASI Rafiqat Ali’s transfer to Sheikhupura and orders to the DPO Okara to address Zainab Bibi’s concerns about an investigation change.

The meeting highlighted the IG’s commitment to ensuring that the police force’s operational challenges are met with prompt and effective solutions. Dr. Anwar stressed the importance of supervisory officers acting swiftly on all requests and emphasized the need for them to provide detailed reports on their actions to the Central Police Office, ensuring that the needs of personnel and their families are met efficiently.
