Lahore, In a passionate address at the CEOs Health Conference organized by the Department of Primary and Secondary Health, Punjab’s caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi underscored his administration’s dedication to transforming the province’s health sector. Naqvi emphasized that providing quality healthcare is not only his duty but also a form of worship, and pledged to instigate long-term improvements for the system.

According to Chief Minister of Punjab Press Releases, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Naqvi addressed the current state of health facilities, refusing to blame healthcare workers who often deal with overcrowding and resource shortages. He stressed that the government’s role is to ensure that such facilities are provided, reflecting on the improvements already seen due to the collective effort of his team.

The Chief Minister heralded the initiation of hospital upgrades as a sign of progress, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards. He suggested that the collective effort of the region’s health officers could lead to substantial advancements in patient care for Punjab’s vast population.

He also commented on the management of dengue fever, crediting the health department and administration for keeping the disease under control.
