Lahore, July 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that rapid growth in population is increasing problems which are a threat to human survival on the earth. The chief minister said that speedy growth in population multiplies health, education and employment issues. Usman Buzdar in his message on World Population Day, said that the purpose to observe this day is to raise awareness globally regarding the importance of balance in population and resources.

The people’s cooperation and support with the government’s efforts is utmost necessary to overcome the problems related to the increasing numbers of population and the living standards of the people can be further improved by overcoming the rapid increase in population. The tsunami of the human population must be stopped to protect natural resources. Raising awareness about population welfare is the collective responsibility of every member of the society, he added.
