Lahore, July 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed for the speedy drainage of rainy water in the low-lying areas of Rawalpindi and said that WASA and administration should utilize all out resources for this purpose. He warned that no delay in work will be tolerated. He directed that drainage should be ensured in minimum time by utilizing all necessary machinery and WASA and administrative officers should remain present in the field and ensure the complete implementation on the plan of drainage.

Usman Buzdar said that he will not tolerate any negligence in early drainage of rainy water. He said that citizens should not face any difficulty. Special arrangements should also be made to keep the traffic flowing smooth. Officials, administrators and traffic police officials should remain present in the field. The Chief Minister directed to submit the report of drainage with a timeline to the Chief Minister’s Office.
