Punjab Chief Minister Naqvi Inspects Services Hospital Upgrade, Orders Drainage System Overhaul

Karachi, Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing upgradation project at the Services Hospital in Lahore. During his visit, he reviewed the construction activities and issued immediate directives for the implementation of a new drainage system, aiming to enhance the hospital’s infrastructure.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, saw Chief Minister Naqvi closely examining the progress of the upgradation work in various sectors of the hospital, including wards and corridors. Emphasizing the need for quality, he ordered the installation of new drainage pipes and the construction of a pumping station for efficient water management at the Services Hospital.

The Chief Minister’s visit also involved interactions with the laborers working on the project, where he encouraged them to maintain diligence and high standards in their work. Inquiring about their working conditions, he asked a laborer about their holiday schedule, showcasing a concern for the wellbeing of the workforce.

Present at the visit were Provincial Ministers Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Advisor Wahab Riaz, and officials from various departments including Housing, Health, Construction and Communications, and the Managing Director of Wasa. The presence of such a diverse group of officials indicates a comprehensive approach to the hospital’s upgradation, ensuring that all aspects of the project are addressed effectively.
