LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid tribute to Madar-i-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, highlighting her contributions to democracy and national service on the 59th anniversary of her death. The chief minister acknowledged Jinnah’s dedication to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and her enduring legacy as a guiding force for the nation.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister, in her message, praised Fatima Jinnah’s commitment and the sacrifices she made. Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that Jinnah remains a role model for women across Pakistan, showcasing resilience and serving as an inspiration for future generations.
The chief minister stated that the people of Pakistan hold Fatima Jinnah’s national and political services in high esteem. She remarked that Jinnah’s life demonstrated the potential for women to contribute significantly to the nation’s progress and prosperity.
