Lahore, The Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has approved the establishment of the Darshan Resort, a new venture designed to enhance the experience of Sikh pilgrims visiting the Kartarpur Corridor. This initiative, under the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), aims to provide comprehensive facilities to pilgrims in key religious sites.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during a meeting held in Lahore on Friday, Chief Minister Naqvi outlined the plan for the Darshan Resort. The resort is part of a broader effort to offer all-out facilities to Sikh pilgrims, particularly in the areas of Eminabad, Farooqabad, Nankana Sahib, and Kartarpur, which hold significant religious importance for the Sikh community.
The Chief Minister expressed a welcoming attitude towards Sikh pilgrims, emphasizing the region’s commitment to promoting religious tourism and offering a warm reception to visitors. The establishment of the Darshan Resort is a strategic step to enhance the infrastructure around the Kartarpur Corridor, ensuring that Sikh pilgrims have a comfortable and enriching experience during their visit.
