Lahore, The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), hosted Chairman Iftikhar Ali Sahoo of the Planning and Development Board (P and D) Punjab at the CBD Punjab Complex in Lahore for discussions on enhancing the province’s socio-economic development.
According to Punjab Central Business District Development, the visit aimed to explore CBD Punjab’s ongoing and upcoming projects and their critical role in driving Punjab’s economic development. CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, and his team, including Executive Director Commercial, Mohammad Omer, Director Business Development Ali Waqar Shah, and Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, presented comprehensive details on the authority’s current and future projects. Senior officials from CBD Punjab and NESPAK were also present.
The team highlighted several transformative projects of CBD Punjab, such as Sirius, Regalia, Runway, Node, and Sano, which are poised to significantly impact Punjab’s development landscape. Chairman Iftikhar Ali Sahoo praised these initiatives and assured the Planning and Development Board’s full support, recognizing their potential to foster sustainable growth in the province.
Chairman Sahoo expressed optimism about the economic prosperity these projects could bring, underlining the Planning and Development Board’s commitment to supporting and collaborating with CBD Punjab.

About PCBDDA: Punjab Central Business District Development (PCBDDA), Pakistan’s first central business district, is a landmark project aimed at positioning Pakistan in the global business district map. Focusing on eco-friendly urban regeneration and economic generation by following vertical principles, CBD Punjab has secured investments of 56.47 billion PKR from two grand auctions. The Authority has completed the Kalma Underpass CBD Punjab Boulevard project for 4.2 billion PKR and initiated other significant projects like Ghora Chowk Flyover and Walton Road upgrade. A state-of-the-art parking plaza with a capacity for 2,500 vehicles is also under construction at the CBD Punjab project site.
