Punjab Agriculture Ministers Discuss Livestock Development with American Agri-Marketing Firm

Lahore, Provincial Agriculture Minister Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and Information Minister Punjab Uzma Bukhari engaged in a strategic meeting with Tony Clayton, President of the American Clayton Agri-Marketing Company, focusing on enhancing the genetic potential of livestock in Punjab.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting held in the Punjab Assembly Chamber, was attended by Secretary Livestock and Dairy Development Punjab Masood Anwar. Clayton briefed the ministers on his company’s initiatives to improve livestock services, feed, equipment, and supplies under the O Green Initiative programme.

Minister Kirmani emphasized the Punjab government’s commitment under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to provide extensive support to small and medium farmers in the dairy and beef sectors. He mentioned the government’s intent to collaborate with Clayton Agri-Marketing to boost the dairy industry and increase meat exports from Punjab.
