Lahore: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, underscored the importance of public support in addressing national challenges during a workers’ convention in Lahore on Sunday. He emphasized the resilience and strength of the Pakistani people as the government’s primary source of inspiration.

Tarar highlighted that the foundation of any government rests on the will of its people. He noted that with clear intent and firm resolve from leadership, success becomes inevitable. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s administration for making bold decisions in the face of economic difficulties and political division.

Announcing a significant relief measure, Tarar revealed a reduction in domestic electricity tariffs to Rs. 7.41 per unit, providing substantial relief to households. He also mentioned reduced electricity rates for industrial users and a lowered policy rate, aimed at boosting economic activity and investment.

The minister acknowledged Pakistan’s improving economic indicators and credited the Pakistan Army for its role in maintaining security and stability. Tarar concluded by urging party workers to continue promoting progress and unity, expressing confidence in overcoming challenges and guiding Pakistan toward prosperity.
