Lahore: In a recent development, the Public Service Commission Punjab has opened an online application portal for petitioners seeking age relaxation for the Assistant (BS-16) positions in the S and GAD department. This decision follows a directive from the Lahore High Court and pertains to various writ petitions filed by different petitioners.
According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the online portal will remain open from September 4, 2024, to September 10, 2024. This window of opportunity is available strictly in accordance with the Lahore High Court’s orders pertaining to writ petitions numbered 47876/2024, 47037/2024, 47881/2024, 47853/2024, 48265/2024, 48126/2024, 48657/2024, and 49369/2024. Each petitioner is required to submit their application online using the CNIC numbers provided in their respective petitions.
The commission has emphasized the importance of adhering to the given timeframe, noting that no extensions for submitting online applications will be granted beyond the September 10 deadline. This measure ensures compliance with the judicial instructions and provides a fair and regulated process for all involved petitioners to submit their applications for the Assistant positions.
