Public Service Commission Punjab Announces Examination Schedule for Multiple Positions.

Lahore: The Public Service Commission Punjab has released the examination schedule for various positions across different departments. The examinations, scheduled for November 23 and 24, 2024, will be conducted in multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the examinations on November 23, 2024, will cover several positions. For the morning session, candidates will compete for one post each of Deputy Secretary/Deputy Controller of Examinations (BS-18) and Assistant Secretary/Assistant Controller of Examinations (BS-17) at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha, with 488 and 596 applications respectively. Additionally, the Punjab Food Authority will hold examinations for Assistant Microbiologist (BS-15) and Microbiologist (BS-16) positions with 544 and 436 applicants respectively.

On the same day, in the morning session, tests will be conducted for positions in the Punjab Special Education Department. Six posts for Optometrist (BS-17) and two for Ophthalmologist (BS-17) have attracted 737 and 135 applicants respectively. The evening session will feature examinations for Assistant Director roles in various departments, including the Engineering/Electrical sector (BS-17) in the Housing Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department, with a total of 261, 159, and 846 applications across three positions.

The examinations for November 24, 2024, will focus on the Assistant (BS-16) positions in the Services & General Administration Department and the Police Department. The morning session will see a staggering number of applications, with 111,561 and 104,339 for each department respectively. The same positions will be tested again in the evening session with the same number of applicants.
