Islamabad, January 03, 2022 (PPI-OT): Defence Minister Pervez Khan Khattak says Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is still the most popular party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the largest party in the county. Addressing tehsil convention of PTI in Nowshera, he said the party will be soon even stronger than before in the province. Pervez Khattak said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the stronghold of PTI and it would defeat the opposition parties in the second round of local government elections through its best strategy.
He said tickets would be distributed among candidates on merit basis and only eligible candidates will be selected through party elections. The Minister said PTI will not repeat the mistakes made in the first phase of local government elections and would clean sweep the second phase.
