Psychological tests of 788 officials conducted on IGP’s orders

Islamabad, January 19, 2023 (PPI-OT):On the special orders of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, a series of psychological tests are going on in order to improve the performance and mental abilities of the officials and performing duties at different divisions of the Islamabad capital police and to solve the problems faced by them.

According to the details, during the year 2022, the psychological test of 788 officials performing duties at different divisions of Islamabad capital police has been conducted. In which 638 officials from security division, 27 from operation division, 48 from logistics division, 44 from Traffic division, 31 from special branch, and 62 from Frontier Constabulary including female officials have participated.

Capital police officer Security division said that the Islamabad Capital Police is always engaged in law and order duties in order to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the citizens. Maintaining the law and order situation in the federal capital Islamabad is a big challenge, due to which the officials were facing not only physical but also mental difficulties. In this regard, psychological tests of different divisions of police officials were conducted. The purpose is to further improve the performance and solve the problems faced by the officials on a priority basis.
