Provincial Ombudsman Balochistan Issues Appointment Order for Complainant in Irrigation Department Case

Quetta: In a recent resolution of a workplace dispute, the Provincial Ombudsman Balochistan, Nazar Muhammad Baloch, issued an appointment order for an individual named Saila from the Irrigation Department. This order came as a result of a complaint lodged by petitioner Najma Khan, who claimed that her previous appointment order by the department was not being honored.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Najma Khan had approached the ombudsman’s office a few days ago with a grievance against the Irrigation Department. The complaint was subsequently referred to investigation officer Jameel Kakar for further inquiry. Following an investigation and a request for a formal response from the Irrigation Department, the Provincial Ombudsman ruled in favor of the complainant, Saila.

The decision prompted the secretary of the Irrigation Department to swiftly implement the ombudsman’s ruling by officially issuing the appointment order. In response to the favorable outcome, the petitioner, Najma Khan, expressed her gratitude towards the efforts of the Provincial Ombudsman by sending a thank you letter.

This case highlights the role of the Provincial Ombudsman in addressing employment-related disputes and ensuring that departmental commitments are executed as per the law.
