Provincial Minister Urges Social Media Users in Quetta to Support Pakistan Army and National Institutions

Quetta: In a recent address, Provincial Food Minister Haji Noor Mohammad Khan Damar emphasized the pivotal role of social media in defending Pakistan and its institutions, specifically targeting those who spread negative propaganda against the Pakistan Army and other domestic institutions. The minister’s comments were made during a gathering of social media workers from Caravan Circle PB Sat Ziarat Kim Harnai, where he urged participants to actively support and protect national entities through their online activities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Haji Noor Mohammad Khan Damar highlighted the importance of using social media platforms positively to benefit the country, the Pakistan Army, and all defense institutions. He instructed the social media workers associated with the caravan to counteract any misleading propaganda with appropriate responses. The minister stressed that it is the duty of every citizen to defend and support these institutions, which he referred to as the backbone of the nation’s sovereignty and security.

During his speech, Damar directed the caravan’s social media workers to display the Pakistani flag on their Facebook IDs, pages, and other social media profiles as a show of solidarity and defense against the spread of harmful narratives. He called for honest and dedicated efforts to safeguard the image and integrity of the Pakistan Army and other institutions on digital platforms.

This move comes in response to the increasing challenges faced by national institutions on social media, where misinformation can spread quickly and cause significant damage to public perception and national morale. The minister’s call to action reflects a broader strategy to engage more proactively with the digital community to foster a resilient and supportive online environment for the country’s foundational institutions.
