Gwadar: The Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, inaugurated the Mir Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri Auditorium at the Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute (PCTVI), University of Gwadar. The ceremony highlighted the collaboration between the University of Gwadar and the Gwadar Port Authority, enhancing vocational and technical education in the region.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was attended by distinguished guests, including the Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Chairman of Gwadar Port Pasand Khan Buledi, Dr Manzoor Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, and the Executive Director of PCTVI. The auditorium, equipped with modern amenities, is designed to host academic conferences, seminars, and technical training programs. It represents a significant step in building the educational infrastructure necessary to support the development vision for CPEC initiatives.
Minister Buledi emphasized the importance of the new facility, stating it would help create a skilled workforce in Gwadar and contribute to the broader regional development goals. The inauguration was also marked by the participation of faculty members, administrative staff, and representatives from the local community, all recognizing the auditorium’s potential in promoting knowledge-sharing and professional development. The Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute continues to focus on advancing technical education and preparing the youth for future global economic challenges.
