Provincial Irrigation Minister Highlights Role of Sufism in Spreading Islam in Naseerabad

Naseerabad, Provincial Irrigation Minister Mir Mohammad Sadiq Imrani emphasized the enduring influence of Sufi poets in spreading the teachings of Islam through their works during an event in Naseerabad. He noted that Sufism has historically played a crucial role in conveying Islamic tenets to broader regions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Imrani spoke at the anniversary celebration of Sufi saint Syed Chizal Shah at Dargah Fatehpur, attended by a host of local dignitaries and thousands of devotees. He highlighted how Sufis like Syed Raheel Shah and his son Syed Chizal Shah have contributed significantly to increasing knowledge and awareness of Islam in the region. The event underscored the local tradition of commemorating Sufi scholars and their contributions to the spiritual landscape of Naseerabad.

The minister later visited the shrines of Syed Raheel Shah and Syed Chizal Shah, where he participated in recitations and prayers, affirming the deep spiritual heritage of the area and the ongoing relevance of Sufi teachings in contemporary society.
