Provincial Adviser Visits Flood-Affected Areas in Naseerabad, Pledges Sustained Support for Victims

Naseerabad: Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Imrani, the Provincial Adviser on Labor Force, spent a second day in the flood-stricken areas of Nasirabad, where he assessed the damage caused by recent flooding and interacted with affected residents. The adviser’s tour included visits to several goths within the Qaba Sher Khan area, where he promised government assistance and expedited rehabilitation efforts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Imrani’s visit covered Goth Haji Muhammad Ali Brohi, Goth Manzoor Bugti, Goth Rahmatullah Brohi, Goth Abdul Rauf Bangalzai, Goth Muhammad Rafiq Bugti, Goth Khamisa Khan, and Goth Bakhsh Ali Bugti. During his interactions, affected families shared their hardships, particularly highlighting the destruction of their crops, which has led to severe difficulties.

The presence of tribal leader Rahm Ali Imrani, MD Imrani Muhammad Ashraf Imrani, and other community members underscored the significance of Imrani’s visit. The Provincial Adviser emphasized that the Balochistan government, following directives from Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Khan Bugti, is committed to evaluating and addressing the damages promptly. Imrani acknowledged the limitations in compensating for natural calamities but reaffirmed the government’s resolve to assist the flood victims in every possible way.

Moreover, Imrani stated that rehabilitation efforts would commence immediately after the relief phase to help the victims regain their livelihoods. He also mentioned that welfare organizations, in coordination with the government, have been instructed to aid in the relief efforts. To preempt any health crises, medical camps have been set up across the affected areas to provide timely medical services and prevent the outbreak of epidemics.

The advisory concluded with a reassurance to the flood victims, stressing the government’s dedication to their recovery and sustained support in these challenging times.
