Karachi, November 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Providing affordable and basic residential facilities to the residents of Karachi is one of the top priorities of Karachi Development Authority. In the past, Karachi Development Authority has successfully completed successful projects across the city for the middle class, these projects are still appreciated not only in Karachi but in the entire country. These views were expressed by the Director General of Karachi Development Authority Syed Muhammad Ali Shah during a meeting with a delegation of senior officers.
On the occasion, he added that keeping the tradition of the past, KDA Scheme 41 will be developed as the first multi-storied eco-friendly fully residential project in Sector 7B of Surjani Town. In the residential project, it will be possible to provide all necessary basic residential facilities including modern and high speed lifts, standby generator, boundary wall, mosque, park, play land, gymnasium. This project has been finalized and will be implemented soon after the approval of Governing Body.
The residential scheme People’s Sky View Apartments will consist of more than 1700 flats of 3 and 4 rooms in seven towers in 25 floors with double basement where parking for more than 2000 vehicles with car parking facility for each flat and spacious reception will be constructed in each tower for guests. He said that the housing scheme will soon be available at all private bank branches to get ownership rights of People’s Sky View Apartments.
KDA has prioritized the facility of paying the price of flats in easy installments for the homeless family while the allotment will be done through computerized lottery. DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah further said that we have to focus all our attention for the development of the city of Karachi and the welfare of the citizens. It is the duty of all of us to provide possible facilities for the citizens with mutual cooperation and consensus on practical measures instead of verbal accumulation.
