Jammu, September 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): People staged a protest sit-in against the opening of a wine shop in Poonch and urged the district administration to immediately close it.
The protesting people near SK Bridge in Poonch expressed resentment over the Excise department and raised slogans to close the wine shop
Advocate Syed Aqib Hussain said that the Excise Department was thinking about the revenue generation but it is the matter of our generations and we would not let these shops open in Poonch and the protest sit-in will be continued till the shop will not be closed.
