Muzaffarabad, December 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir organized a protest demonstration in Neelum Valley, today, on the occasion of Human Rights Day against the worst human rights abuses by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A protest was held against Indian state terrorism at Bantal Shahada Chowk in Athmuqam, the capital of Neelum Valley. Pasban-e-Hurriyat district President Sharafat Hussain Malik led the protest demonstration.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards with pro-freedom and anti-India slogans and demanded of the United Nations to take notice of the worst violations of human rights by Indian troops in the occupied territory The speakers on the occasion said the Human Rights Day is being observed all over the world, today, but India is committing the worst kind of rights violation in the occupied territory under the guise of so-called democracy.
They said the Indian troops are killing the Kashmiris in the occupied territory and committing atrocities on innocent people, but there is no one to stop India from these atrocities. He questioned the international human rights organizations that why they are silent on the violation of human, social and religious rights of the Kashmiris? The speakers called upon the international community to play its role in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the will of the Kashmiri people so that permanent peace could be established in South Asia.
