Property of Kashmiri Civilian Seized by BJP Regime in Pulwama

Srinagar: In a continued effort to displace Kashmiris, the BJP regime in New Delhi has seized the property of another civilian in Pulwama district, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This action is part of an ongoing policy targeting local residents.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the confiscated property belongs to Bilal Ahmad Lone and includes 16 marlas of land and a two-story residential house. The seizure was enacted under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in the Nehama area of the district. Officials have accused Lone of supporting the Kashmiri plebiscite movement and providing shelter to freedom activists Reyaz Ahmad Dar and Rayees Ahmad Dar, who were killed by Indian forces.

The BJP government’s strategy aims to displace Kashmiris and weaken their political and economic foundations. Additionally, Indian police have recently summoned three individuals for questioning regarding their protest posts on social media platforms.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has voiced strong opposition to these actions, describing them as colonial-era tactics to suppress the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination. APHC spokesman Adv Abdul Rashid Minhas criticized the regime for employing such measures under the pretext of maintaining order, asserting that these acts terrorize and demoralize the Kashmiri population.
