Quetta, The Interior Police Section of Balochistan has announced the promotion of DSPs Abdul Jabbar, Khurshid Ahmed, and Shafiqur Rehman to the rank of SP effective from May 3, 2024. However, DSP Legal Ashraf Ali’s promotion has been postponed due to an ongoing departmental inquiry.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the promotions reflect the department’s ongoing efforts to recognize the contributions and capabilities of its officers. The delay in DSP Ashraf Ali’s promotion highlights the government’s commitment to due process and integrity within its ranks.
