Srinagar, May 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):Haji Muhammad Sultan Shah, a prominent freedom leader in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, died after a short illness, today. The deceased was a resident of Nadi Hill area of Bandipora district. Haji Muhammad Sultan was one of the first leaders of the freedom movement. He was associated with IIOJK Jamaat-e-Islami and was a very fearless leader.
Meanwhile, Convener of All Party Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter Muhammad Farooq Rahmani in a statement expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Haji Muhammad Sultan and offered heartfelt condolences with the family of the deceased. He said that his services in the freedom movement would always be remembered. Imtiaz Ahmad Wani, another APHC-AJK leader, also expressed grief over his death and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
