Proclaimed Offender in Murder Case Apprehended Upon Return from Abroad**

Lahore, Lahore Police successfully arrested a dangerous proclaimed offender, Mustansar Hussain, involved in a murder case, upon his return from Saudi Arabia at the airport on Monday. This arrest marks the 130th apprehension of a proclaimed offender from foreign countries this year.

According to Punjab Police, Hussain had committed a murder in 2016 at Dolat Nagar police station in Gujrat. The Punjab Police, after issuing a red notice from Interpol, diligently followed up to ensure his arrest. Post-arrest, the accused was handed over to Gujrat Police for further legal proceedings.

IG Punjab commended the police team for the arrest of this A-category dangerous proclaimed offender and emphasized the importance of completing the legal process swiftly to ensure the offender is duly punished. He urged for an intensified crackdown against proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes and advocated for enhanced information sharing with FIA, Interpol, and other agencies.
