Pro-Khalistan Graffiti Emerges in Delhi Before Indian Republic Day


New Delhi, As India approaches its Republic Day on January 26th, pro-Khalistan graffiti has once again appeared in New Delhi, raising concerns in the capital.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the Delhi Police reported that the latest instance of such graffiti was found on the wall of a government school in the Uttam Nagar area. An FIR has been registered, and the police are currently investigating the matter. This incident follows a similar occurrence a few days earlier in west Delhi’s Nihal Vihar area, where the slogan ‘SJF, January 26, Khalistan’ was painted on a pillar by an unidentified individual. These incidents of pro-Khalistan graffiti have garnered attention amidst the heightened security measures typically in place around Indian national holidays.
