Islamabad, December 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif today laid the foundation stone of development projects for the districts of South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially Dera Ismail Khan Division. These development works will usher in a new era of prosperity in the area. The details of the projects are as follows;
Foundation laying of Chashma Right Bank Canal Lift Gravy Gravity and Inauguration of Refurbishment of Unit 8 of Chashma Hydel Power Station
Foundation laying of Abdul Khel 132 KV and Band Kurai 132 KV Grid Stations
Western Route of CPEC / Motorway York- Foundation laying of package 1 (York-Sago) of Sago-Zhob section
Rehabilitation of various sections of Indus Highway (N55) commenced.
Rehabilitation of Piezo to Tank Road and Dera Ismail Khan Bypass;
Inauguration of the rehabilitation of the roads damaged by recent rains and floods
A briefing was also given regarding these projects. The Prime Minister also directed the Chairman WAPDA to complete the construction of all dams in South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as soon as possible.
