Prime Minister Urges Swift Completion of National Projects


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed that all projects of national importance be completed on schedule, ensuring adherence to high quality standards, a move aimed at enhancing public welfare and driving economic growth.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s directive came during a meeting with Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad. The Prime Minister emphasized that the timely completion of development projects is a top government priority, crucial for creating employment opportunities and achieving sustainable economic progress. He urged relevant ministries and departments to enhance coordination and cooperation to expedite project implementation, so that citizens can benefit from these initiatives promptly.



The meeting also featured a briefing from the Minister for Planning, who updated the Prime Minister on the status of ongoing development projects, the progress made, and future plans. Detailed discussions were held regarding projects under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
