Islamabad, The Prime Minister has called for a collaborative approach among all stakeholders in pursuing the initiatives of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). This directive was given during the 7th meeting of the Apex Committee of the SIFC, which was held in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir expressed the Pakistan Army’s steadfast commitment to supporting the nation’s economic recovery across various domains. The SIFC has urged relevant authorities to develop a comprehensive strategy to address oil and gas issues. Ministries presented plans aimed at improving the investment ecosystem to realize envisaged investments. The Committee recognized the enhanced level of engagement with friendly countries and the proactive outreach to the investor community. It also reviewed and appreciated the progress in the privatization of State-Owned Enterprises, urging the continuation of this process at a rapid pace.
