Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit Saudi Arabia, where he will participate in the two-day 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which commences in Riyadh on Tuesday.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister will be joined by key Cabinet Ministers on this official visit. The Future Investment Initiative is recognized as a vital platform for nations to demonstrate their economic capabilities, attract foreign investments, and engage in discussions to promote a sustainable future.
The theme for this year’s edition of the FII is “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow.” The event will center on global investments targeting crucial issues, including Artificial Intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, finance, healthcare, and sustainability.
During his visit, Prime Minister Sharif is expected to hold significant bilateral discussions with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, as well as other senior Saudi officials. These talks will focus on strengthening the economic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with an emphasis on cooperation in economic, energy, and defense sectors.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to interact with other leaders and entrepreneurs participating in the FII Conference.
