Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Welcomes Significant Reduction in Inflation

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his satisfaction with the recent decline in Pakistan’s inflation rate to a single digit, marking a notable economic improvement over the past month.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics’ recent announcement that inflation decreased to 9.6 percent in August. This achievement is seen as a direct result of the government’s proactive economic measures. He attributed this success to the diligent efforts of his economic team and noted that this is the lowest inflation rate observed in the last three years.

Prime Minister Sharif also mentioned optimistic forecasts from economic experts who anticipate a further decline in inflation this month, which he regards as encouraging news for the nation.
