Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits Muzaffarabad for Discussions and Project Briefings

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has traveled to Muzaffarabad for a comprehensive day-long visit, involving key meetings with local leaders and an inspection of the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s schedule includes a meeting with Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq. He is also set to address the cabinet of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the federal government’s support and collaboration on various administrative and developmental issues.

During his visit, Prime Minister Sharif will meet with Hurriyat leaders from Jammu and Kashmir to discuss ongoing concerns and matters of mutual interest. Additionally, he will receive a detailed briefing on the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project, a significant initiative aimed at boosting the region’s power infrastructure.
