Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Lead Delegation to Saudi Arabia for Investment Initiative

Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to lead a high-level delegation to Saudi Arabia from the 27th to the 29th of this month, following an invitation from His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The visit aims to strengthen ties and explore opportunities for cooperation in various sectors.

The Prime Minister’s agenda includes participating in the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9). This event will gather global leaders to discuss the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.” Key topics will include innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical shifts.

Accompanying Prime Minister Sharif will be Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with senior Cabinet Ministers. The delegation plans to engage with Saudi leadership to discuss trade, investment, energy, and human resources.

On the sidelines of FII9, Prime Minister Sharif will hold meetings with leaders from other countries and heads of international organizations. These interactions aim to showcase Pakistan’s investment potential and highlight its readiness to collaborate on sustainable development.

The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to advancing economic diplomacy and fostering strategic partnerships in investment, technology, and sustainable development.
