Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to lead a high-level delegation to Riyadh from October 27 to 29, 2025, at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The visit aims to participate in the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), a global summit focused on unlocking new frontiers of growth.
The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, alongside senior Cabinet Ministers. They will join other global leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore themes such as innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical shifts.
During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif will engage in discussions with Saudi leadership to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resources. The talks will also address regional and global issues of shared interest and concern.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Prime Minister plans to meet with leaders from other nations and heads of international organizations. These interactions aim to showcase Pakistan’s potential for investment and commitment to sustainable development, aligning with the “Think, Exchange, and Act” approach.
The visit highlights Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening economic diplomacy and forming strategic partnerships in investment, technology, and sustainable development.
