Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for a two-day official visit to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, tomorrow, following an invitation from Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. The visit aims to strengthen the multifaceted ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan through high-level discussions and the signing of several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister will engage in meetings with President Rahmon, Chairman of Majlisi Namoyandagon Mahmadtoir Zoir Zokirzoda, and Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda. These talks are expected to cover a broad range of topics including regional connectivity, trade, energy, and people-to-people contacts, reflecting both nations’ commitment to deepen bilateral cooperation and address multilateral issues together.
