Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Seeks to Elevate Pakistan-Saudi Relations to Strategic Partnership


Islamabad, In a recent exchange with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has outlined his ambition to strengthen the bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia into a comprehensive strategic partnership. This conversation follows the Crown Prince’s congratulatory message to Prime Minister Sharif on his re-election, underscoring the enduring friendship and mutual support between the two nations.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for Pakistan during a cordial telephone call, celebrating the close brotherly relations that have long defined the partnership between the two countries. Prime Minister Sharif extended his gratitude for the Crown Prince’s felicitations and warm wishes, reciprocating with prayers for the health and well-being of King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and expressing the profound respect and affection that the people of Pakistan hold for the Saudi leadership.



Emphasizing the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, the Prime Minister wished peace and prosperity for Muslims worldwide and highlighted the shared history and brotherhood that unite Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He praised the Kingdom for its steadfast support and expressed his desire for the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan, promising a warm reception.
