Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated his administration’s dedication to providing economic relief to the common man, emphasizing the recent decrease in Pakistan’s inflation rate to a single-digit figure for the first time in nearly three years.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif, in a statement shared on his X handle, highlighted the drop in the annual inflation rate to 9.6 percent in August as reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. This development marks a significant milestone in the country’s economic recovery efforts.
The Prime Minister expressed that while the achievement is notable, there remains much work to be done.
