NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for investment and business activities during meetings with US-based Pakistani business leaders and professionals. The meetings, held in New York, included representatives from sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, automobiles, energy, and construction.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif underscored the role of these business leaders and professionals as ambassadors who enhance Pakistan’s image globally through their contributions. He encouraged them to consider investing in Pakistan, highlighting reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue that have addressed challenges faced by the business community.
Sharif also noted the government’s priority in fostering innovation within the agricultural sector to spur development. The business community expressed their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s leadership and praised government initiatives in agriculture, industry, exports, and Federal Board of Revenue reforms.
