Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his approval of the International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) recent advisory opinion which calls for an end to the Israeli occupation and illegal settlements in Palestinian territories.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts on his X handle, stating that the ICJ’s decision confirms the legitimacy of the Palestinian people’s struggle for self-determination. He emphasized that this ruling is a significant step towards justice and urged the international community and the United Nations to act on it, supporting a two-state solution as per relevant UN resolutions.

The Prime Minister also highlighted Pakistan’s role in supporting the Palestinian case, reflecting the country’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause.
