Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commemorated National Police Martyrs’ Day by honoring the sacrifices of police personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty, safeguarding the public and their properties.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s message highlighted the crucial role of police as frontline defenders in the fight against terrorism and commended their unwavering commitment and bravery. He emphasized the continuous sacrifices made by the police in securing a better future for the nation.
Prime Minister Sharif reassured that the federal government remains dedicated to supporting the families of police martyrs, with a specific focus on ensuring their children receive proper education and health care. He recalled the significant measures taken during his tenure as Punjab Chief Minister, where he implemented a historic package aimed at enhancing the welfare of the martyrs’ families, reaffirming his ongoing commitment to their well-being.
