Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed from Islamabad for a day-long visit to Quetta, where he is scheduled to meet key provincial leaders and announce a significant development package for local farmers.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit to Quetta, the Prime Minister will engage with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, as well as members of the Balochistan Cabinet. A major highlight of the visit is the anticipated announcement of a substantial joint package by the federal and Balochistan governments aimed at enhancing the development and prosperity of the region’s farmers. This initiative is expected to bolster agricultural productivity and economic stability in Balochistan.
In addition to these meetings, Prime Minister Sharif is set to interact with Members of Parliament from Balochistan and address the media, further discussing the details and implications of the development package.
