Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Concludes Productive Visit to China

Beijing, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Pakistan after a five-day visit to China, which marked significant progress in the bilateral relationship between the two nations, particularly in advancing the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the visit was pivotal in strengthening trade relations and the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China. During his stay, Prime Minister Sharif engaged in discussions that added new dimensions to the bilateral ties and emphasized the deep, historic friendship between the two countries, which he described as “eternal and unparalleled.”

The meetings during this visit involved extensive interaction between Chinese and Pakistani businessmen and investors, focusing on sectors such as Information Technology, agriculture, and minerals. The Prime Minister lauded China’s development achievements in these areas as exemplary and expressed optimism about the mutual benefits of the strengthened economic partnership.

As he departed, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province Chen Chunjiang, along with senior diplomatic officials from both countries, bid him farewell. Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for the Chinese leadership’s hospitality and voiced hope that the advancements made during the visit would have long-lasting positive impacts on both nations.
