Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Calls for Action Plan to Boost Chinese Industrial Investment in Pakistan

Islamabad, In an effort to deepen economic ties with China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed relevant Pakistani authorities to draft an action plan aimed at attracting Chinese industrial investments into Pakistan. This initiative seeks to leverage the upcoming official visit to China to solidify business-to-business interactions and encourage Chinese companies to establish industrial units in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting held in Islamabad today, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive facilities to Chinese industrialists and investors. He underscored the importance of preparedness for his impending visit, during which a delegation of Pakistani industrialists, investors, and entrepreneurs will accompany him to Shenzhen.

The delegation aims to engage with the Chinese business community to foster enhanced business-to-business relations. Additionally, the Prime Minister has instructed the Pakistani Ambassador in China to ensure all necessary support is available to the Pakistani business delegation during their stay.
