Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to depart for an official visit to Turkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan starting Sunday. The visit aims to address a broad spectrum of topics, including bilateral relations and regional and international matters.

According to a statement by Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s itinerary includes meetings with the leaders of these nations to engage in comprehensive discussions. A significant aspect of the visit will be the opportunity for Prime Minister Sharif to extend gratitude for the support Pakistan received during its recent crisis with India.

In addition to diplomatic talks, Prime Minister Sharif will attend the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, scheduled for the 29th and 30th of this month. The conference is expected to provide a platform for dialogue on environmental concerns, particularly those impacting the region’s glacial landscapes.
