Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Muslim World League, emphasizing the country’s commitment to fostering unity within the Muslim community globally. This affirmation came during a meeting with Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, who visited Islamabad on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Dr. Al-Issa’s efforts to promote a true image of Islam worldwide and recognized the pivotal role of the Muslim World League in advocating for Muslim causes and enhancing inter-faith harmony. Prime Minister Sharif also conveyed his best wishes to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, underscoring the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Issa lauded Prime Minister Sharif’s dedication to strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and congratulated him on the success of his recent trip to the Kingdom. The discussions highlighted ongoing collaboration and mutual support in various international forums.
