The Prime Minister lauded Noziri’s efforts in promoting ECO as a pivotal regional platform for cooperation and wished him well for his future after his tenure concludes.

Prime Minister Sharif also expressed pride in the appointment of Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, a former Pakistani Foreign Secretary, as the incoming Secretary General of ECO, indicating a continuation of strong leadership within the organization. Furthermore, he extended his best regards to Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon, underlining the strong diplomatic ties within the ECO framework.
