Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad to express his condolences on the death of President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and other senior officials in a recent helicopter crash.
According to Press Information Department, during his visit, the Prime Minister engaged with the Iranian Ambassador, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, paying tribute to President Raisi and recalling their past interactions. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the ties between the two nations, a mutual goal discussed with President Raisi during his recent visit to Pakistan. The Prime Minister also signed a condolence book in memory of the late president and the other victims of the crash, accompanied by key Pakistani officials.
