Islamabad, March 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Communication Murad Saeed has said the opposition, especially the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan People’s Party, has no empathy with the people and is only criticizing the government to hide its inaptness and corruption.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan reduced petroleum and electricity prices to provide relief to the common people and it seems strange that the opposition is unhappy over this pro-people move. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan always keeps people’s welfare on top priority.

Murad Saeed said the past rulers were not only involved in corruption, but also wasted national wealth on their extravaganza activities, including entirely personal and private foreign tours, and having multiple camp offices. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan lives in his own house and has no camp office anywhere in the country.

The Minister said former President Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had spent millions of dollars on their tours to the United States, while Prime Minister Imran Khan conducted similar tour to Washington at a cost of around 67,000 dollars.
