Prime Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Children’s Rights and Development


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the rights, well-being, and development of children, emphasizing the importance of their protection and growth.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a message delivered on World Children’s Day, the Prime Minister called upon parents, educators, civil society, and policymakers to collaborate in fostering an environment where every child feels loved, valued, and secure. The Prime Minister highlighted the day as a reminder of the collective responsibility to uphold and fulfill the rights of every child, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment, irrespective of their circumstances.



The Prime Minister emphasized the duty to equip children with the necessary facilities and opportunities to reach their full potential and contribute positively to society. Various government and non-governmental organizations, alongside community groups, are scheduled to hold several events today aimed at addressing the specific needs of children and advancing efforts to safeguard their rights.
